LNG Resources Bhd chalked up a pre-tax profit of RM2.165 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013, compared with RM434 million registered in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue increased to RM14.394 million, during the period under review, from RM6.333 million registered previously, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
The higher profit before tax was in tandem with the increase in group revenue.
On future prospects, the company said the board was of the opinion that the group's financial performance for the year will improve.
